Video Study by Pastor Doug Batchelor (Amazing Facts).
Choice (noun):
1. An act or instance of choosing; selection.
2. The right, power, or opportunity to choose; option.
If (noun):
1. A supposition; uncertain possibility.
2. A condition, requirement, or stipulation.
*We all have freedom to make our own choices. We can choose to/not sin and we can choose to stay within/leave the Lord’s path. There is no once saved, always saved (Romans 11:22) nor is there predestination of who is to be saved or not (1 John 1:7). if you are predestined to be saved –once saved, always saved: Then what about those who aren’t saved or in this instance, did not even have a CHOICE of choosing the Lord. These ideas imply that the Lord would be an accomplice to the sins of those who weren’t ‘predestined’ or were saved but choose to continue to sin without repentance. This would make our Father unjust, unloving and even hypocritical.
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7
“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” - Romans 11:22
*Now keep in mind that whatever you decide to ‘feed’ your mind will affect your choices. Yes, this includes but isn’t limited to TV Shows, Music (+ videos) and even your friends and family can influence how and what choices you decide to make whether big or small. The only thing we should use in helping us make our choices is the word from God. [Bible Verses: Psalm 119: 9-16, Phillipians 4:8-9, Colossians 3:1-4, Dueteronomy 5:29]
“9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes. 13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. 14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. 16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.” – Psalm 119: 9-16
“8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” – Phillipians 4:8-9
“1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” – Colossians 3:1-4
“29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!” – Dueteronomy 5:29
*Our salvation is conditional based on our choices as we are to choose who we want to serve. You can remain a servant of sin (John 8:34) or become a servant of the Lord but you can’t serve both (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13). The word if is often used in the bible showing that there is the possibility of doing either or in reference to whichever topic is being discussed. Yet in order for you to do so you must have a choice in the matter, and a decision must be made. [Bible Verses: 1 John 1:7, 1 John 2:24, Hebrews 10:38, John 15:6, John 8:51, Romans 11:22, 2 Peter 1:10, Hebrews 3:14, 2 Timothy 2:12, Hebrews 10:26, 1 John 2:15, and John 15:4.]
“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” – Hebrews 10:38
“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” – John 15:6
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.” – John 8:51
“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” – Romans 11:22
“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” – 2 Peter1:10-11
“For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” – Hebrews 2:14-15
“It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” – 2 Timothy 2:11-13
“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” – Hebrews 10:26-27
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” – 1 John 2:15
The Lord is there to help you, if you choose to serve Him. He has shown His love for you (Romans 5:8/John 3:16-17), Prayed for you (John 17:20-21) and even intercedes for you (Romans 8:34). The Bible is full of, but not limited to, examples of the various ways God loves you and is willing to help you (2 Cor. 5:18-21). You only need to be willing and accept Him into your life.
May God Bless and keep you!
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” - Joshua 24:15

The Safe Motherhood Malawi project was developed for Malawian mothers, educating midwives to train community-based health workers to improve midwifery knowledge and care.
Captured by Paolo Patruno, a photographer focused on humanitarian issues and social documentary while working with Non-Profit Organization. Patruno documents the lives of these women and their newborn children.

“Being satisfied in God (or anything) always seems easier when all is going well. But when things you love are being stripped out of your hands, then the test is real. If God remains precious in those moments, then his supreme worth shines more brightly. He is most glorified.
The most meaningful testimonies I receive are when people tell me that it was a vision of the sovereignty and goodness of God that got them through the most difficult times of their life.
Here is one of those testimonies. I tremble with the glad responsibility of introducing you to Ian & Larissa Murphy in this video. Tremble, because it is their story and so personal. So delicate. So easily abused. So unfinished. Glad, because Christ is exalted over all things.”
- John Piper.
Without a doubt, one of the most touching love stories. Love that goes beyond, stays, and grows in hard times.
This is better than any wedding video I’ve ever seen or posted. Because this isn’t about the wedding, it’s about the marriage. The blessed marriage.
Best thing ever.
This honestly touched my heart. <3
Ty Gibson, A God Named Desire
“Continuing to stay strong in the face of intense pain, the Martin family reached out to us and shared some exclusive family photos taken 9 days before Trayvon’s death on February 17, 2012.
Out celebrating his mother’s birthday, we see the 6’3 teenager enjoying one of the final moments with his family.
We see Trayvon horseback riding, playfully hugging his little cousins at dinner and finally posing in a family photo.
